I bought the game about 6 months ago, and it failed to grab my attention. Ran great on my pc, super fast load times, graphics look good on triple wide too, and only came across one bug that I can remember, so guess I’m lucky. Maybe I should re-try it.

I have 100 hours in the game, I only have a few more achievements to do and then Im going to complete the game. In usually not a completionist like that, but I got really hooked on this one

Playing it currently. Got about 50 hours in it.

      • The graphics and environment are amazing, with incredible detail.

      • I absolutely loathe bloated inventory management and complex character-building, and this has that in spades, but I’ve ignored it almost completely, meaning they could have easily just left it out altogether and been fine. There are lots of different types of weapons but rarely were any of them “better” than the other.

      • The content is seemingly endless. Like I’ve got 50 hours and still dozens of side quests left.

      • It’s very story-heavy. I don’t care for that particularly. Just want to shoot things and blow them up 90% of the time but this is like 50% story and cutscenes. Story is decent.

      • Before the last missions and after you beat the game, your “default” mission is always the same last main quest, which is super annoying. Was hoping after I beat it, it would at least disappear from my “journal” but it just drops me back into my last checkpoint and lives at the top permanently.

      • Glitches are fairly common but not a huge problem. My bike once spawned in the middle of some traffic fences. I got permanently stuck behind a building sign one time. My car would occasionally just get yeeted a thousand feet into the air for no reason. Somewhat frequent frame drops and 2 complete crashes.

      • I am by no means a “skilled” gamer and the normal difficulty was far too easy. Only character that ever challenged me was literally the last guy in the main story quest. And I only died once.

Conclusion: def not GOTY contender for me but well worth $30 I paid.

It was a bit difficult for me to jump back into for some reason but I stuck with it and got addicted for a few weeks.

I was heavy into it when it first came out (playing on my PC) and then fell off and then came back for the 2.0/Phantom Liberty DLC but couldn’t get into it for some reason. Then I came back a short time later and stuck with it and it grew on me again.

      Maybe same for you?

2.0 massively rebalanced shit, so if you played in a different way on your return that might also explain it

I played 1.0 as a hacker wizard man with 0 combat skills at all, but that’s a LOT harder (and, worse, annoying) as of 2.0, so I had to rework my character to find the fun

Same here. It ran well, but somehow the gameplay was a tad shallow and it didn’t make me play twice.

I probably enjoyed more the introduction than the game overall.

I bought it on launch and it never caught me. I gave it a shot. tried again with my new PC running it in 4k and man did it look beautiful, but I just couldn’t do it. I think I should just restart and commit to it
