    If he was on the clock, the videos belonged to the company. That he was earning what he thought he should be and putting in so much work, that’s on him.

      The videos may belong to the company, but he’s under no obligation to share his personal google drive with the company. It’s pure negligence on the part of the company to not have copied the assets to their own drive.

        Although what you said might be true, this person just posted in social media and made the intentions behind the act, very clear to everybody. He could have said “oops I didn’t know you didn’t copy the files and I was innocently cleaning my Gdrive”. But no, I guess internet points are worth more.

          Sure, stating that the intent was to screw over the company isn’t going to help his case, but ultimately it doesn’t matter why he deleted the files. It’s his drive and he can do whatever he wants with it.
