Today I received in the post a kit I had bought already. I think this is the acid test for unpainted models. If you can remember everything you have yet to paint you’re good. Above that is verboten for me now.

Anyone else have a rule of thumb to keep themselves in check?

I have a spreadsheet sheet on my Google drive

    It’s uh… Too long…

    I may have a problem.

It’s probably not good that I’m actively considering doing the same now… In my defence I’m in the process of starting a 30k army, plus repainting one of my 40k armies so my work list is extra long right now…

Oh, the repainting. I have an old metal Guard army that I want to redo to bring it back into tenth ed. I’m a little intimidated.

I just paint my stuff and then buy new, can’t have a pile of shame if you don’t have a pile.

I use a notes app and just have a list of stuff I own. Or you could use paper, whatever your vibe is.

I do the note app thing too. I got tripped up by mixed boxed sets

Every once in a while I just decide I’m not buying any minis for X amount of time. For example, August to December this year, I’m not buying any.
