Hey! We’re currently undergoing this at our hospital. I’m in Massachusetts, but we’re owned by a dogshit Texas corporation. They’re actively union busting us, filing frivolous appeals to delay our vote, bringing in corporate travelers to spread lies about the union.
Fuck Texas. Fuck hospital corporations.
Good thing Biden moved to get a standard at the nlrb that made union busting, more easily penalized, giving them broad powers just to certify.

Yeah, they’re already in the shit with the NLRB. They appealed our vote twice, most recently to DC, crying that Massachusetts NLRB was just oh-so-unfair to the poor corporation because of a strike they had at our sister hospital a couple years ago. DC pretty immediately was like, “Lol, no. DENIED.” It was a beautiful memo to read.
Reminder that Texas sucks. Republicans suck too. They’re a pox on America.
This has little to do with Texas, and a lot to do with Ascension, which is a nation-wide “Catholic” hospital system that talks about caring for the poor and vulnerable while fucking over its workers and its patients. I wouldn’t be surprised if many top staff in Ascension are Democrats, meaning this has nothing to do with party afffiliation either. Ascension’s CEO is the highest paid CEO in healthcare, fyi. Fuck Ascension with a pitchfork
None of what you said changes what I said.
And they’re about to get a whole lot poxier.
What are the working conditions like in a union busting firm?
Union busting union isn’t much different from a police union.
Family love right there…
