        Tamagotchi interrupted the class by making noise and distracting students. Kids liked to show their pets as well, so after a short time of kids bringing them to class they were banned.

    All balls and spheres were banned at recess for like almost an entire school year, it might have actually bled into the next school year. My middle school memory is fuzzy.

    They banned conkers one year due to a tendency to rage over conkers. Then they tried to start a conker club so we could play under adult supervision but their rules took the fun out, like we all had to use the same string, no varnish or baking or whatever, it was useless.
