Hello, When posting a gif via the app on Android, the post creation is successful, but when seeing the post the gif is not animated, like I posted some kind of screenshot. Is this specific to the voyager app, or to the instance I’m posting at (lemmy.world) ? Thanks a lot !

    If it’s over 1MB it’s compressed to prevent it from being outright rejected when uploaded.

    I guess we could check if the gif is animated and ignore compression? It’ll still be rejected unless your instance has set a higher upload limit
