    It’s going against secularism plain and simple.
    It’s rich coming from the guy with the government that yaps about secularism and republicans values all day when it comes to Muslim stuff like Abaya or burkini.
    He’s a fucking hypocrite, that’s what he is.

      You’re wrong. Lighting a candle out if solidarity is not the same as letting religious leaders decide about the state

        Next time we should ask him to celebrate the Aid in the Elysee then. It’s definitely out of line for a French president to be involved in a religious celebration as the President. At least it used to be.

          Look, most people don’t have this us-against-them world view that you suffer from.

          It’s not like he never showed solidarity with muslim people. And your feeling of being treated unfairly is not the fault of any Jew

            Gotta love the condescending tone from a person, who, most likely, has no idea of how secularism works in France, or what is currently going on here. Absolutely love the ad personam at the end too.
