The plastic loop on my old viper remote broke, so I popped it open to get some dimensions and got to work in fusion 360. This is rev2 printed in glow ABS.

Is it just the images, or did you sand and finish this? I don’t see layer lines and artifacts, but can see a print bed texture on the back.

It looks super clean. Like I first assumed it was SLA until I saw the back texture. Nice job.

Which filament is that? I’ve been using hatchbox glow in the dark pla and mine definitely doesn’t glow nearly as bright as that.

Overture glow ABS. It Prints well for me. To be fair, I took these pictures right after walking inside from the sun, so it was nice and charged up.

I love practical prints, so much better than “check out this character bust!”, especially when you designed it yourself. Currently making soundhole covers for cigar box guitars and trying to figure out a good way to spray DIY conductive paint on them to nickel plate. Whenever I get it figured out I’ll post but so far nothing to write home about.

Yeah same here. Tje decorative stuff can be cool but I also tend to stick with functional stuff. That project your working on sounds pretty cool, I’m looking forward to seeing how it comes out. Electroplating prints is something I’ve been interested in for a while but haven’t tried it yet.
