The Tacoma City Council voted Tuesday to ban cat declawing, except when conducted by a licensed veterinarian for a therapeutic purpose.

    Should be countrywide. I feel for anyone whose ever gotten their cat declawed without knowing how awful it is. It’s hard to reconcile with the knowledge that you’ve done some real harm to your pets in the past, and that can keep you from learning better in the future.
