Ignore the voiceovers because they’re useless, but this is an interesting stop. I can’t tell if the dude is just stoned or what. It sounds like he punched one of the cops.
This could have been so easily deescalated by just asking the dude to go home and not point the gun at people because he’s scaring them. The cop was acting really nervous, I don’t know if it’s a bad area or what but that reaction seemed over the top.
That really is a great point, and not something we often think about. I think a lot of people, if told by the cops to knock it off, would consider it a blessing and knock it the fuck off.
