The NCAA’s decision in 2021 to abruptly drop their opposition to college athletes profiting off their names, images and likenesses has done nothing to deter advocates from pushing for a greater share of revenues for athletes.

    Those athletes deserve fair compensation for what they do and a union, a national one especially, is a great way to go about making sure you get fair compensation.

      It’s almost as if said student althetes generate millions upon millions of dollars for the schools they play for

        It’s almost as if academia should be about academia and sports can use the millions upon millions it makes to stand on its own instead of piggy backing on the education system from top to bottom.
