If you want to understand the current state of BritWres, there are few better places to start than NORTH.

Running since 2016 in Newcastle upon Tyne - a city of 300k in the north east of England once described by Michael Cole as “a small mining community” - they are a great example of what I love about BritWres, small passionate companies looking to put on great matches and build the next generation of talent, in front of very loud and usually drunk crowds of a few hundred people.

Speaking of drunk crowds, NORTH run their shows out of a small craft brewery - Anarchy Brew - and have their own beers as well. It’s great.
