Even when Rice slips he recovers and is still clean in possession. He was also the “1” in the “1v4”. The guy is a cheat code.

If Liverpool loses they’re going to blame it not not being given a handball call. But, you can hardly come up with a more clear “ball to hand” moment.

The crowd is so quiet right now.

This has to be the most neutral-friendly game this year. Nothing but action. No defense, only attack.

I can think of at least twice when Sky had to interrupt a replay because live action had overtaken them.

This match is open. If Martinelli wakes up, and Havertz find a cause we can win this. Zinchenko needs to relax with the inverted role and allow Rice to develop the play. Big Gabi has been man of the match on both sides.

Saka’s new hair colour is confusing me.

Not looking intimidated. Good possession numbers, dangerous in attack, but I don’t think there is any team that puts on so much pressure high up the field, so Arsenal players have given up possession in the Arsenal defensive third multiple times.

Far too many bookings on Arsenal players though.

I have seen the tsimikas clip. All I can say is that’s terribly unfortunate. Yellow card to Jurgen Klopp for injuring someone /j

Worth noting that it started because Saka completely won a battle of strength against Tsimikas. In a normal duel you’d expect the fullback to win a battle of strength against a tricky winger.

I like the ref doing the “slip” motion in his explanation. :)
