    I RECENTLY REPLACED THE FLOORING IN MY KITCHEN. THERE WAS A SMALL CAVITY UNDER ONE OF THE FLOORING TILES SO I STUCK A GROCERY STORE FLYER UNDERNEATH.

    MAKE SURE TO USE SCREWS IN THE SUBFLOOR INSTEAD OF NAILS. THAT WAY THE NAILS CAN’T BACK OUT AND CAUSE YOUR FLOOR TO SQUEAK. NOBODY LIKES A SQUEAKY FLOOR BROTHER!

    THE HOUSE I LIVE IN WAS BUILT IN 1915 AND SOME OF THE FLOOR BOARDS ARE VERY SOFT AND MUSHY NOW. THERE IS NO SUBFLOORING SO I WORRY ABOUT FALLING THROUGH ALL THE TIME AND THE LANDLORD IS LIKE 🤷‍♂️ WELL YA THAT’L HAPPEN IN AN OLD HOUSE 🤷‍♂️

    I DON’T KNOW WHY EVERYONE IS YELLING BUT ANYWAYS JUST BECAUSE JOISTS ARE LEVEL DOESN’T MEAN THEY’RE IN PLANE
