Conservatives largely get their “news” from online posts on Facebook and Twitter. Most are from extremely poor sources, filled with lies, misinformation, and racism.
It’s interesting how quickly that changed for Twitter. I was watching the Revenge of the Electric Car and Googling the people in the movie. At the time of the movie Tesla was struggling to get the Roadster out the door and about the launch the S model. Elon was married for the first time to Talulah Riley with 5 kids at that stage. I found this quote interesting from her Wikipedia page:

It’s like Newsmax if it was just the clickbaity title. Regardless, the point is that people aren’t watching Newsmax. Those people aren’t interested in being convinced of lies. They just want to know the thing they should believe and then move on.
