It feels like modding is on a big rize as far as the size of them go. We have the likes of Archolos (winner of mod of the decade), generals in red alert 3, mental omega, fallout london etc. all massive projects taking years to finish and labour of love.

Wars of Liberty is always my mod of the year, there’s just no other way to play Age of Empires

This is a good reminder that I need to try STALKER Anomaly and the Thief games. STALKER Call of Chernobyl (which basically just combines all three games) was pretty incredible.

The PC modding scene is always impressive and more players should check it out.
