Hi all, we’ve been having daily threads in [email protected] but I thought I’d branch it out to [email protected].

It doesn’t have to be me making the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So how’s it going?

Oof love the $60 fee at the doctors just for them to agree with me that my hayfever has come back for winter.

Can’t imagine how those worse off pick and choose what’s worth going to the doctor for.

I feel for you, as a person with permanent allergies. I find the easiest way to tell if it’s allergies is to put an N95 mask on for an hour. If symptoms go away or improve, it’s allergies.

Is that going to be one of the things that pharmacists will be able to deal with soon? I saw a list of things they’ll be taking on and it seemed pretty comprehensive (but I can’t remember if allergies were included).

I was under the impression that that was limited to certain groups. They’ve set me up to now just be able to order it as a repeat prescription which is good. Think they saw the pointlessness of me coming in when they have properly sick people they need to see

Oh, I wasn’t aware it was a targeted campaign. That’s a little disappointing but hopefully it’s successful and will go a ways to getting people to actually get treatment. I know I’ve avoided the doctors for about the last year because I don’t feel I’m sick enough to claim an appointment; if there’s not so much pressure on the staff I’ll be more inclined to go.
