I heavily recommend this game for people who like VNs or branching narratives. It’s a bit light on horror, but extremely enjoyable.

And as the article says, play it first-hand, without seeing any sort of let’s play or whatever. The first run is amazing.

I’m not saying anything further because it would be spoilers, and those are a big no for this game.

The Chinese Room said the same to me when I couldn’t buy Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture legally in my region.

Has anyone played it? I looked at it on steam and the VA seemed subpar. Is the story really so good so you should go in completely blind?

Dunno what you mean, the VA is excellent - especially if you consider it’s only a few people doing an absolutely huge range of voices.

The main story is interesting if a bit self indulgent (I liked it tho) but the real meat is all the side stories and mini endings IMHO. You’ll definitely want to replay it over and over again for those, the main story you can see within a few hours.

I’m basing my judgement of the VA off a short clip on Steam. I read that this is the type of game you want to experience first hand so I didn’t watch too much more on it for fear of spoiling the experience. Thanks for the feedback, I think I’ll try it out.
