His Hill House series was scary, and is entirely different from the book. I liked that one better as a horror series.
As for the politics, ::: spoiler spoiler Verna the supernatural creature implies Trump is one of her ‘clients’. There is also a rant related to roe v wade. I’m pro choice and hate trump, but I don’t want to see them break my immersion in a fictional series. :::
