I specifically said they are less worried not that they are free to stop working willy nilly. Moreover strikes and similar protests can be organized in a way to make this less impactful.
Again I swear I have no huge anger for these people, but I hope you realize these things are not mutually exclusive. Meaning anger alone won’t fix the problem with execs. Having devs refuse to purposefully build software that is invasive, addictive or whatever it is, can and will hurt execs.
Workers that are better paid in the first place are in a better position to do this, yes, and would work better than simply raging at the execs.

If anything, the more downtrodden and more numerous low-earning people have much more reason to strike and start fighting back, and will affect more change. Their jobs are actually required for our society to continue functioning, unlike most dev work, particularly game dev.

Realistically, all of these groups need to rise against the people making the decisions. They WANT us to be angry at the people they’re giving commands. The top class wants the middle and lower fighting each other.

I do fight. We just need the brunt of the people to also be fighting. Our only real advantage is our numbers, and it has to actually accomplish shit.
I think the longer it takes us, the more brutal it will be. Our current timeline is not going in a nice direction.
