    Seeing as there’s already a TTC station named york university, and the Dundas name is being phased out,

    In the case of Dundas Station, renaming to “TMU” will be funded by Toronto Metropolitan University, formerly Ryerson.

    I really like that move. I think it’s a good renaming for the city (and TMU), and it’s good business by the TTC.

    It’s a pretty funny win-win here that TMU pays a little for the renaming of the station and for those that wish to reduce the minimize the prominence of the Dundas name. I wonder what Dundas West will become… “The Junction” would be pretty badass in reference to the area about 1km northwest of the station as well as the fact several streetcar routes meet there.

    I hope they keep one of each of their Orion buses in a museum… The green sign common on Orion Vs are kind of nostalgic now.
