    It’s pretty interesting study, but also a kind of dense long read:

    TL;DR: This article explores how estrogen influences hair and eye color development, showing that women more often have non-black hair (like red and blond) and non-brown eyes (like blue, green, hazel). These traits, once rare, have become more common due to their attention-grabbing qualities and are linked to feminization in men and shyness in blue-eyed boys. The article argues this diversity began in European women, with men inheriting these traits as a side effect. It also discusses a proposed study to further investigate the hormonal influence on these traits and their associated behavioral/physical characteristics.
