I don’t need FF sync so is there any option available in about:config of mull(android) to disable it like tor browser.
just log out
😅 Ya bt seems bloated. Any way to disable sync option.
maybe this
identity.fxaccounts.enabled
Yes, this worked for me. 🙂
U r on mull or fennec?
It is false by default. Also making true do not work.
So it worked for someone else but not you, wonder of it’s the specific browser. Or something else is overriding it. No idea, good luck.
I am doing on mull (android).
Bluetooth seems bloated?
Nope I use it for listening music
just curious, but why would you want to be logged into Firefox if you’re not syncing anything?
I dont want to be logged in 😗
Then… Log out?
Looks like we have some misunderstandings
In what way? If you don’t use it, it doesn’t use any extra resources…
I love sync personally, although I do want to check out self-hosting it (no idea if version 0.14.4 means it’s ready or not).
You could try LibreWolf. Its firefox but privacy focused and has sync disabled by default.
Edit: oh sorry i was talking about desktop
@grandel @itsaj26744 I use Librewolf as my main browser but I do keep firefox on my computer just in case
