So I went and checked out several instances, including Kbin. It seems that some of them can’t even find our community when searching for it directly using the Community Finder, and our posts don’t pop up in their feeds.
Amazed we still have so many subscribers here, but I feel this hinders our growth (and therefore the content posted here) a lot.
Really hoping Lemmy get this sorted soon. Please don’t stop posting cool stuff here.
Beehaw’s questionable decision to defederate sh.itjust.works may have negatively affected the visibility of this community.
kbin.social is currently not federating due to them needing cloudflare protection. This will be resolved very soon. I can find this community just fine, and I’m using my own instance hosted at home.
