I don’t know how but long story short my therapist wants to try a dnd session with me and wants me to dm. Are there any small like one player modules I could run? He wants to play a warlock if that helps.
Oh so when a theraphist plays DnD at work it’s fine but when I do it it’s “slacking off” and “grounds for termination”.
You showed up in full armor with a mace, 5 torches, and a bag of various animal parts you called “spell components”. You left ration crumbs everywhere and convinced no less than 3 people that their chairs were mimics. The rest we can abide but you know we have a strict “no maces” policy!
Becky from an accounting is a vegan and you insisted on roasting a boar next to her desk. When she asked you to move you just shouted about already having cast Tiny Hut and that you “weren’t going to break camp now!”
The rest of the office appreciated the Hero’s Feast you threw for lunch, though.
Did they, or has he taken Rustic Hospitality?
I’m super interested to hear how your therapist convinced you to be their personal dm!
Not just a personal dm but the op is paying to be a personal dm.
Lmao, thank God for insurance
Long story short he’s trying to get me to be productive because I’m in shared living rn, he suggested I try dnd since I did bring it up before but an even longer story all my friends ghosted me so he said we can try and campaign.
Not sure what your situation is, but I’d be willing to bet you could find a group of players online that’d be thrilled to have a DM! Either way, good luck with being productive and the therapy!

I’ve played First Blush, which was suggested in this article. It’s good!
“Third Time’s the Charm” on dmsguild.com. There are more single-player adventures there, too.
Might wanna just design a small event. Like being in a village that’s attacked by bandits. So it’s only a couple hours long max.
