Was never designed for mobile either, hence why third party apps popped up
Bullshit. I’ve been using third party apps before the official one ever existed
The official app was a third party app until Reddit bought it.
Before I switched over here and this situation started getting big, I saw a post over on Reddit that explained how the “official” Reddit app was actually a third party app that they bought out…
Yup. They bought Alien Blue, swapped the logo colour to orange, made it the official logo and called it a day.
This is not true. They also stripped out a shit ton of functionality.
I was using Boost for Reddit, and I was always overwhelmed by the customization options. Absolutely loved it though.
Ha ha… Someone internally really needs to be like “dude, seriously shut up at this point you’re just making it worse” .
There is nothing more amusing than someone with an enormouse ego making a complete cluster fuck of a situation.
This guy will dig a deeper and deeper hole for himself it seems.
I think you mean Digg
Same talking points from the AMA. Nothing new here. He’s just a mouth piece. The other interview with the Apollo dev was more interesting. The verge says more of the interview is coming but I can’t see why they held back except that it probably doesn’t have much either and they just want more clicks.
They really don’t have a better mouth piece than this guy?
No point in getting mad anymore. Dumb-dumb’s already said he’ll be profit driven until he gets money. This just proves it’s at the expense of the users. Reddit’s just going to get worse.
I swear to God if someone gave me reddit and said, “make this thing profitable,” I really don’t think it’d be as hard as he seems to think it is.
