My mom told me recently that I could go harvest Strawberries from a field and pay for each Kilo I harvest, but while I am harvesting I am allowed to eat as many strawberries as I want. I somehow still feel like this is not legit and there needs to be some sort of miscommunication.
Well, you are essentially paying extra in terms of the time involved, so I suppose it wouldn’t be too surprising that some places might allow you to do things like eat along the way since you can only eat so much in a sitting :)
As a Linux user I forgot that time is something valuable. But now I believe more what I got told.
Haha, for me at least I think I ended up wasting way more time fighting Windows when I was trying to do development on it. Though I have come to the conclusion that no operating system is safe from bizarre, utterly inexplicable behavior
Thats why ended up using Arch after so many distrohops over 3 years. (I can’t predict what is wrong on a Ubuntu or Fedora, just too hardcoded without proper documentation or wiki)
I never did dev on Windows except Python as a teen which should work good enough on Windows. But after using Linux for too long, the work experience I did was pain because of no relaxing features and everything crashed constantly.
Maximum VALUE
Yeah, there aren’t violent psychopaths trying to destroy farm fields. The shortsightedness of self-righteous people is always hilarious to me. They didn’t think for even a nanosecond past what they thought was a massive gotcha.
Violent psychopaths like the people who bash piglets against floors to kill them?
considering that that is the least painful way to do it? Yes. If meat-eaters were violent psychopaths the way you describe them, they wouldn’t bother with doing the least painful thing.
There’s no need to kill pigs at all, so I couldn’t care less about what the “least painful” way is.
Of course there is, how else would be get meat?
We don’t need to eat meat.
we do
OK, so how do millions and millions of vegans manage to survive without meat? Answer me that 😉
