    A pretty lazy attempt… TL;DW

    1. Amazon required official trademarks for listed products
    2. Sellers found they could get quick trademark registrations by using crappy names
    3. Customers apparently don’t care about the crappy names

    Boom, problem completely not solved, but the USPTO is swamped with nonsensical trademark applications.
