This book is a light read but if you enjoy it there is an expanded series. Its perfectly fine as a standalone novel itself.

Ender’s Game is great. Orson Scott Card is a disappointing human. Buy it used. I recommend not reading the sequels.
Sequels are some of my favorite… Yeah the man sucks.
