    Much more complicated than that. Biden would have registered for the sanctioned February 6th primary. Not the one New Hampshire is running in January. This has been known for over a year.

    But New Hampshire doesn’t want to budge because they have a state law claiming they get to always be the first primary. Biden purposely did not acknowledge the January date. For 2024 South Carolina will be the first DNC primary.

      I guess NH failed the DNC the last two times so they’re starting with SC to keep that from happening.

      Biden goose egged NH in 2020 and I doubt he would fare better today.

        New Hampshire Democrats have a bad record of picking candidates that aren’t the eventual winner going back to Truman.

        It’s slowly changing but they’ve had very homogeneous demographics for a long time. They’re the second oldest average age state as well. It doesn’t make sense to have such a state be the first primary for the party that isn’t for old white people.
