It’s actually kinda incredible how long it took for Ukraine to decide to start being retaliatory towards Russia considering it is absolutely a full war for them. Pretty impressive restraint but I don’t blame them for striking back.
They have had to delicately balance on a line of how much they can retaliate without putting funding from other countries at risk.
They have also developed their own internal weapons capable of such strikes, so they can still abide by the restrictions set by allies on the use of certain imported weapon systems.
I agree, except that it’s not retaliation when you hit strategic targets in a country that is engaged in a war of annihilation against your country.
I mean I agree in spirit but I don’t think Ukraine would be striking strategic targets in another country unless they had been invaded first, so, by just straight definition alone, it is still in fact retaliation and should be recognized as such since it does remind people that Ukraine are absolutely the victim an Russia hit first.
Wow !
(…) While Russian authorities spoke of only one drone being intercepted, Russian media reported several had attacked the oil terminal including one carrying “about 3kg of explosives.
”Last year it was reported Ukraine had begun mass production of kamikaze drones with a range of 1000km.
