In-N-Out Burger is prohibiting employees in five states from wearing masks unless they receive a medical note from a doctor. Failure to comply could lead to termination.

    My best friend at work always wants to go to In-N-Out when we go to lunch. I’m getting to the point where I don’t want to support them anymore. It’s a good burger, but their pushback on vaccine mandates left me cold, and now this. I didn’t really care about their bible verses on the cups, even though I’m an atheist - that’s their right. And I heard more recently that they support anti-LGBTQ legislation, which I haven’t looked into, but is more problematic to me than any of the above.

    I’m just going to have to suggest 5-guys or something as an alternative.

    I fail to see any possible benefit to banning the use of masks here. What good could this possibly accomplish? It’s clear that this is a policy based entirely on punishing people who don’t share the veiws of the policy maker.

    You know, fascism.
