maybe someone can help on my mistaken thinking.
If I touch and move one of the short patch cables between the patch panel and switch the connection is lost. This problem occurs with different keystones and different cables. (also if the keystone isn’t in the patch panel).
Clients --> Patchpanel w/ keystones (CAT6A) --> Switch
All cables (U/FTP cause I need Slim cables) and keystones are shielded and the patch panel is not grounded cause its mounted (with the switch) on rack rails in a wooden box and there is no ground point.
If I attach the cable directly to the switch without any keystone in the middle everything works fine.
Is it really the grounding?
Yeah I could just stop touching the cables but if there is a problem I should solve it :P
