Im upgrading my homes wifi and have fallen in love with Ubiquiti devices. Currently with only 3 Aps, Switch and using my PC as the network controller.

In the near future I plan on expanding but I think the UDM is a bit of overkill for my home setup but the UDR doesn’t run enough programs, as I want to run Unifi, Protect and access for my main door entrance.

Does Ubiquiti plan on releasing any new products which will do such a thing and I wait out for that? Or should I just stick to the old reliable UDM Pro and buy another access point.

My walls are made of solid brick, old style house and running cables is a bit problematic so the less devices the better really
