Neat. People chanting does not a “cult” make.

Chanting “four more years” when confronted with genocide is very cultish, but also, do you actually think Biden could do anything to make his base not vote for him? As far as I can tell his base is 100% committed because he isn’t Trump and nothing else matters. Cult-like.

AFAICT, they were chanting because of a heckler in the crowd, not because of the content of the heckler’s speech. However, I would need a little more context to know for sure.

But yes, his base is committed because they think he’ll do a better job than the opposing majority candidate (in this case Trump). I expect them to act similarly with any heckler and any opponent.

Campaign speeches aren’t the place to have a round-table discussion with random people in the crowd, so it makes sense for the candidate’s base to want to drown out any opposition in the rally.

I’m not a fan of Biden or Trump and will likely vote for neither, but that’s because I’m not in a swing state so my state will have a 20+ point spread.

Who else would you recommend they vote for that doesn’t help an even worse candidate to win?

Remember when Trump said that he could shoot somebody in Times Square and people would still vote for him? And everybody on the left agreed that was a cult.

What would Biden have to do before you wouldn’t vote for him?

The answer is that if your choice is between two deplorable individuals then your whole system is fundamentally broken.

People who smugly claim that you have to support the guy committing a literal genocide are utterly morally bankrupt.

“I can excuse genocide but a lackluster putsch due to claims of voter fraud is where I draw the line”

Embrassing, but this is the highest stage of Usonian political thought I guess.
