It’s very simple, and just works out of the gate well. It’s ubuntu without the spyware. I’m sure there are many other distros similar, what linux distro do you like?

Zorin OS and Linux Mint are the best distros for beginners, Zorin was the one that got me to use Linux as my daily driver, right now I use Fedora Kinoite, but I’m planning to switch to Zorin OS 17 when it releases on august this year.

I used to use it, but a nicely configured kde setup on any other distro is generally going to be a better experience imo. personally I’ve been on endeavourOS with gnome because I wanted to try gnome 44 but it’s very much a different experience to windows versus the default KDE setup

I started with ubuntu, then tried manjaro and then arch. and just bounced around a bunch of distros (i mean, thats kinda one of the fun part of linux is it not lol). I landed on debian based ones for my needs. But yeah, i’ve been looking at endeavour for a moment it looks nice, and pacman is the better package manager too imo. i either go dwm or gnome, have not dabbled in kde yet

Zorin was my first distro, and I agree that it works great out of the box!

I switched to Linux Mint later, but I can’t remember exactly why. Linux Mint is nice to use too.
