they’re not mentioning how exactly is it privacy focused, sadly. still, perhaps worth looking into.

They’re probably riding on one of the big telcos’ towers right? I wonder how they’ll keep that private. The site doesn’t load properly for me and I can’t see any more info other than the plans.

FAQ about checking coverage says its T-Mobile. Accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit/debit cards, but no crypto of any type as i figured. I am unable to see how this is any different from any other MVNO, except the prices are higher. As an example, T-Mobile prepaid gives me unlimited talk, text, and 3.5 gigs of data for $15 per month, and theirs for 4 gigs is $35. So I would be getting an extra 500 megabytes of data and paying $20 extra a month for the privilege.

But this one is private, it says so right on their analytics laden website.

          “A privacy focused phone plan.”

          refuses to elaborate

I have, however, noted they are selling a $170, 3 year old Pixel 5 for $400, so at least they have the price points of “privacy focused services” down perfectly.

PS the Pixel 5 is not being updated by Google anymore, which means that the Murena phone is either a paperweight, insecure, or Murena is maintaining it themselves.

          “Less waste, more savings”

          Wrong and wrong. Incredible.

I use Murena Mail, it’s the company of NextCloud. Good one.
