I’m very pleased about the progress of open LLMs. I just hope we can improve on the following from LAMA-2:
truly open source license (e.g. GPL, MIT)
better coding performance
a less restrictive “safety layer” (llama2 refuses to help someone kill a process on Linux because killing is bad… And refuses to give a recipe for mayonnaise because egg can be an allergen so it’s not safe…)
