If the “human made example” provided in the article is representative of all the other categories then of course the AI won.

People don’t want to read through your pun filled marketing drivel sludge to find whether your best-icle will have the info they need.

The AI provided a concise description of what you can expect to find and that’s it.

Having to work closely with a marketing department at work has always been infuriating. It feels like they are just trying to puff up everything larger than life as we’re busy making firsts and bests when none of that is true. The human provided sample is emblematic of that.

In my professional dev work I can have a live conversation with chatgpt and get a working code sample to do what I need very quickly. If I had to rely sometime on humans I have to click through 8 different hits to stack overflow that have all been top ranked on Google and closed for being duplicates with a snarking question about why I didn’t Google it.

Ai gives me copy and pastable code in minutes. Humans give me a possible solution to overcome a problem similar to what is blocking me after several more minutes hunting for the solution and weeding through rude comments from people that don’t realize their site and the Internet have grown into larger beasts than when they first started.
