    Drink slower, steadily drinking around 200 ml of water every 15 minutes keeps you hydrated without your kidneys eliminating the water.

    Dehydration results in concentrated urine, which can be irritating to the bladder and more frequent desire to urinate. To help dilute urine, it is important to stay hydrated throughout the day.

    Avoid or limit foods or drinks that are irritating to the bladder. If you are unable to give them up completely, the following items should be used in moderation:

    alcohol caffeine spicy foods chocolate citrus carbonated drinks

    But is it really a day on the mountain without any of those things? I’d just stick to drinking water regularly to give your kidneys time to process it correctly.
