63% of Democrats, and Pelosi and Biden still think it’s a fringe. I guess everyone lives in a bubble these days.
Don’t worry, they’re also beating us over the head with how great the economy is doing for rich people while giving zero fucks that regular people don’t feel it because they are fucking struggling.
I’m old, this isn’t new, this is par for the course for Democrats. They lean hard on “but the Republicans are worse!” instead of actually doing shit for their constituents. All they think they have to do is be Not Republican and that’s enough.
They are happy to gaslight us about our own lived experience because they can just wonkishly point at The Numbers and ignore the reality on the ground. They have been doing this for thirty years.
Lying to themselves and us about the reality (gaslighting) is just normal Democrat discourse.

I mean the specific people who were talking to her in that video were Code Pink who really are payed actors with deep roots in the CCP diaspora https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oet6TvmkrAw
As a rule of thumb I don’t watch political commentary from Youtubers.
But I did look into it and read a few articles, there’s some truth to your claim - the organisation certainly has some dodgy connections through Code Pinks founders husband. But the group also pre-dates those connections, and I wouldn’t go as far to say they’re paid actors as they’re probably people who genuinely care about their anti-war causes and are being used as pawns. Shame because their argument is correct, but it’s tainted by this connection.
I’ve removed the initial post so as to not contribute to spreading potential misinformation.
Only half??
So exactly who are their representatives representing?
Edit: Of course that was just a rhetorical question.
The ones with money.
While money is definitely key to the size of the support in Congress, this is also an extremely rapid change. Like, outside of a few foreign policy dweebs like us, most Americans sided with Israel nearly unconditionally as recently as November.
Themselves.
Representative democracy is a farce where at best you try to find someone or a group who will maybe align with one or two of your views or at worst because they’re not someone even worse.
I guess the other half dont care then?
Damn, I really thought things wouldn’t change this quickly. A rare pleasant surprise. Hopefully, this will permanently open some eyes on Israel, and allow us to finally change that stain on our foreign policy.
