Tonight’s Ask PHlemmy: How do you deal with loneliness?
Being comfortable with it.
Not ignoring it, nor deluding myself that I am not, nor wallowing in it, but just letting it be. At some point, it felt as natural as breathing, and that being with people feels suffocating.
Going out, seeking to meet old friends, or actively on dating apps.
Put yourself out there. People aren’t going to find you while you’re in your room

Writing sa personal blog ko pag di na talaga kaya (last resort), playing mah fave games (go-to), maglalaba or maggrocery, and watching music videos ng sad songs (sounds counterproductive I know). For the latter, ewan, parang nakacancel out niya na for me yung feeling, kasi madalas napupunta na lang ako sa point na natatawa na lang ako sa effort ko at sa mga kantang mga pinagsesearch ko. Hehe
distractions. its harder if its melancholy, cause distraction itself is hard to even start.
you just acknowledge it, that’s part of life.

Seeing both yung mga mga haligi ng RD daily threads (na ganun pa rin or parang mas intensified pa nga ang level ng kulit hehe) and mga new bloods na rin on this budding community make my heart happy.
For me, di ko pa din alam if I will stay here as long as I did back there, or be as active as I was for that matter. Sobrang reflective ko lang ngayong araw and di niyo alam kung gaano ko naappreciate yung online presence na meron itong sanctuary na to kada browse ko dito.
So yeah, to end, I truly hope I can muster enough courage to finally tell what I have been holding back to tell this person for more than a year now. Na hindi na ako matatakot and be at peace with the end result, whatever happens. Salamat dearest strangers, good night! 💝

I hope we learn from this Reddit fiasco. It’s never a good thing to centralize forums and put our data and information in the hands of one website/company. In my exp, it’s kinda hard to search things on the internet rn especially when I rely so much on reddit for the things I search for.
Also, lol at r/pics posting only John Oliver pics hahaha.
