Thawte certificates are used by most websites to certify that a website is legitimately who they represent themselves to be.
Most browsers include accepting these certs by default because Thawte does a great job getting the company asking for the certificate.
We may have to do something similar, wherein robo calls must have a cert verified by a 3rd party that the voices used are who they say they are or do not represent a 3rd party without permission.
