That’s untrue I installed Connect and used it for 5min. Stayed only in app and didn’t click on any third-party article link, here is the result:

Yeah all good I don’t want to suspect the dev either but since there are bunch of alternatives available, I’d opt for them than this one. I loved how Connect was the first one to try and implement the swipe between posts feature. Hope it keep doing well in the future.
I will install Connect again and see if it still gets detected on DuckDuckGo having hidden trackers.
