If you like a stock-ish launcher Lawnchair has been pretty decent for me. The official channels to get it suck though. Think there’s still a Telegram group that’s distributing new APK builds. Kavita on fdroid seemed alright for the short amount of time I used it too, for what It’s worth.

Discreet launcher allows that. It is a rather minimalist launcher. Available on fdroid.
