Steve Huffman said in an interview that Elon Musk’s cost-cutting at Twitter was inspiring and that the two have chatted “a handful of times.”

Musk’s bumbling of Twitter shattered the last remaining illusions of his genius, even among many of his loyal fanboys. Yet somehow u/spez is still convinced. I will never understand people who find inspiration in dim-witted, vile men only because they’re wealthy.

If he’s taking his cues from that dingus, Reddit’s in bigger trouble than we thought.

He might be able to pull the site out of the fire as a business, but it’s never again going to be the place we once knew.

and of course he’s the kind of born-wealthy-enough-to-afford-private-school white guy who wants Musk-senpai to notice him

god, does this man not have a PR team or something; why are they not making him shut the fuck up

So he learned his mistakes from Elon Musk.

I wonder if he also turns Reddit into a de-facto echochamber for far-right conspiracy theorists.

What kind of absurd drug addiction do you have to have to stay working at Twitter and not leave? I mean, just how massive is your student loan debt to put yourself through that?

and if Musk wants to buy controlling interest in reddit during their anticipated IPO, could he pay in shares of Twitter?
