TL;DW:

New features/improvements:

  • More natural and confident behaviour in parking lots
  • U-turns work now
  • Improved control for poor road conditions
  • Improved confidence for right-turn-on-red with cross-traffic
  • Relies more on road markings and less on map data
  • Slow creep and confident acceleration at intersections.
  • Can (sometimes) pull over at destination

Highway: AI DRIVR suspects that FSD v12 stack is not yet implemented on the highway.

Regression/failures:

  • Inconsistent speeds on open roads with no lead car. Frequent phantom slowdowns.
  • Unnecessary rightward lane change after left turn.
  • Test in unmapped parking lot, steering wheel jittered back and forth. FSD circled round and round, but couldn’t find the exit.
  • Auto wipers much worse.
