The Laphroaig was incredible if you like the peat and the sweet.

    I don’t think I’ve had that version but the Cairdeas 2018 Fino Cask was also sherry finished and possibly my favorite Laphroaig of all time. There’s something about the smoky peat being moderated by a wine texture.

      I have a bottle of Ardbeg Blaaack committee edition and its the same thing where these wine cask finishes really emphasis and partner with the islay flavors.
