Mine is Grumpig. I like this psychic pig with elements of that “Pearls before Swine” quote from the Christian Bible that I was named after. It wears a lot of pearls on itself, and it’s a good dancer. The abilities it has imply that it’s a foodie species that goes at its own whims and tries to set its own pace for life.

What do you like about Espeon? The last time I played Pokémon Colosseum I switched out Espeon and Umbreon for space for other Shadow Pokémon that I’m more interested in.

Always had a soft spot for all the Eeveelutions, and the fact that Espeon was my first shiny helps.

Alakazam! He just looks so cool. Plus I have a bias for the first three generations as well.

He was my first favourite pokemon. Unfairly overshadowed by his diva younger sibling. I’ve since got mons I love more, but when Alola Raichu came along it gave me a whole new side of him to love.

Presently, Espathra is pretty high on my list. I just love the idea of a violent, psychic ostrich. Especially when I see them running around the world in Violet.

Lugia. It’s honestly a shame that it is a legendary, because I usually spend a lot of time breeding Egg Moves, IV’s, special Pokéballs and Hidden Abilities into Pokémon I like, and that is just not possible with legendaries.

My favorite pokemon is psychic type, Starmie. Cool spinny dude channeling various beams through its gemstone.

I think Veluza is so cool. It was such a pleasant surprise in S&V, I had no idea it was in the game when I first found it, and I took it all the way to the end

I have to go with Abra or Kadabra. They have always been some of my favorites.

It helps that they were from Gen 1 when I started playing. Psychic & Ghost have always been two of my favorite types, & I can even remember the show episodes with Sabrina & the Abra evolutions. I may need a little longer to think about why these 2-3 really stand out to me more than the others.

Meowstic—I loved using it in my original Pokémon X play through and it’s a go to pick on my team whenever I play X or Y now.

Hatterene! I think its Violet dex entry is one of my favorite entries of all time: “Beware of forests that show no signs of living creatures within. You may have wandered into Hatterene’s territory.”

Mine has to be the Gastly line, with Haunter being my favorite. I just like the look of him, classic scary pumpkin face, so mischievous! And reminds me of Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town… spooky!!

Gastly and crew are Ghost/Poison, not Psychic. Good picks, though, I adore that line! PL:A is the first time I ever had a Gengar of my own, as I never had any friends to trade with growing up. 😅 So Haunter was the “final evolution” for me for a LOOONG time. Probably why I like it the most of the three, as well.

Ah, that’s right! I’m more of a TCG player these days so they fall under psychic there, but you’re right!

Ahhh, I love the TCG. I don’t have nearly enough friends who play to keep me engaged, though. Sad days.
