It used to be bowls, but we thought this would help, and the other cats have no problems using it. She also drinks from a plugged sink full of water so she might just like the bathroom.
Cats have a natural instinct to avoid stagnant water. Freshly fallen rainwater does it for them sometimes, but a water dish will always be an object of suspicion.
